Shipping policy
<h2>Overview</h2><p>At The Backyard Collective, we work with trusted manufacturers and freight partners to deliver your order safely and on time. Please review our shipping terms carefully before placing your order.</p><hr><h2>Free Shipping</h2><p>We offer <strong>free standard shipping</strong> on all orders within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other US territories may require additional freight charges.</p><hr><h2>Shipping Timeframes</h2><p>Most orders are processed and dispatched within <strong>1–3 business days</strong> of payment confirmation. Estimated delivery times vary by product and supplier:</p><ul><li><strong>Standard products:</strong> 5–10 business days after dispatch</li><li><strong>Large freight items</strong> (robot lawn mowers, pergolas, large patio furniture sets): 7–14 business days after dispatch</li><li><strong>Made-to-order or custom items:</strong> Lead times will be specified on the product page</li></ul><p>Delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier capacity, weather, or supply chain factors.</p><hr><h2>Freight Shipping</h2><p>Large or heavy items such as robot lawn mowers, pergola kits, and large patio furniture sets are shipped via freight (LTL) carriers. For freight deliveries:</p><ul><li>The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment</li><li>Someone must be present at delivery to sign for the shipment</li><li>Please inspect all packaging for visible damage before signing</li><li>Note any damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves</li></ul><p>Failure to note visible damage at the time of delivery may impact your ability to file a damage claim.</p><hr><h2>Order Tracking</h2><p>Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to reflect after dispatch.</p><hr><h2>Shipping Restrictions</h2><p>We currently ship to addresses within the United States only. We do not ship to PO Boxes or freight forwarders.
